CSCS stands for construction skills certification scheme card, and is obtained by taking and passing a test showing that one has the knowledge needed to work in this field.

You will not be able to get a job as a builder or installer of uPVC conservatories without one of these cards. It is quite likely that as well as providing your CSCS card you will be asked to show proof of experience in the building trade.

This is most common when one decides they would like to work in the building or construction trade. In order to get and NVQ card to must first complete the appropriate course.

If one can provide an NVQ card at a level 2, they will be able to receive a blue CSCS card. It would be recommended that you acquire either one of these qualifications as it will help you greatly in the building trade and on your path to becoming an installer of uPVC conservatories.
